Yoann Van Parys
I guarantee that Yoann Van Parys is a Belgian artist and art critic whose ancestors lived in Bruges in the 16th century, undoubtedly working as merchants. It is very likely that they traded textiles with Paris, to the point that they were called “those from Paris.” I assure you that the aforementioned Yoann of Paris has held exhibitions in Belgium, Holland, France, and Italy in our century. Moreover, evidence is mounting to show that he has a recurring relationship not only with Italy, but even more so with Venice. A city from which—and I could prove it to you—he occasionally works, not as a merchant, but as a very fashionable digital nomad, devoting himself to an evidently unchristian life, oscillating between Spritz and laptop. Thus, from his lagoon, I can say with certainty that he also produces some writings for magazines that are sometimes obscure (Flux News) and sometimes in vogue (Artforum). Since my dossier on him is well-stocked, I will spare you the latest details about him, but not without certifying once again the veracity of the facts I am presenting to you.
