On Friday, 18 September at 7 PM, Panorama will host the launch of LAURANA NAPOLI EOLIE published by Humboldt Books, with Andrea De Fusco, Giacomo De Fusco and Lorenzo Mason. Refreshments by OZIO. Anyone who has travelled from Naples to the Aeolian Islands by sea retains a vivid, almost cinematic memory of the crossing. The sun sinks below the horizon, gulls trail the ship’s wake, darkness gathers, and every point of reference gradually disappears until there is nothing left but the experience of being at sea. Then, at first light, the outside world slowly returns. Out of the blue emerge the silhouettes of Stromboli, followed by the other Aeolian islands, revealing themselves one by one. The book is available on Humboldt Books website. -

How do we talk about our emotions? Who has the authority to talk about them? Clinical vocabulary has migrated from the therapeutic setting to workplace and digital contexts, transforming relationships and emotions into areas for optimizing personal performance. While the spread of psychological language contributes to the validation of one’s subjectivity, it also risks reducing our emotional experiences to a discourse that obscures their political implications. The event aims to explore the theme of the psychologization of everyday life through presentations by Luca Negrogno, a professor of sociology at the University of Bologna, and Enea Lombardi, a doctoral candidate in political philosophy at the University of Milan. The event was organized with the assistance of Eleonora Laura Pasqualetto as part of the exhibition E il mio caro cuore rise by Stefano Stoppa, curated by Federica Arcoraci and Pietro Sabelli. Una ninna nanna per i nostri tempi, una mostra sul sonno come gesto di cura in una società che non dorme mai Venezia, settembre 2026 — Il 12 settembre Imagoars apre le porte a (link: https://www.fondazionemalutta.com/VAT-A-LET-2026 text: Vat a lèt), mostra collettiva degli artisti di Fondazione Malutta a cura di Gemma Turroni, che indaga il sonno come esperienza sempre più rara da custodire. Il progetto nasce nell'ambito della tesi di laurea triennale in Arti Multimediali allo IUAV, con relatore Luca Trevisani. Il titolo della mostra, Vat a lèt, che in romagnolo signifi ca «vattene a letto», introduce la domanda al centro del progetto: è ancora possibile il gesto della ninna nanna, quell'atto di cura che promette riposo e protezione, in una società che non si spegne mai? A suggerirla è stato il sonno, tema tornato più volte nel corso degli studio visit fatti con gli artisti della Fondazione senza che nessuno lo stesse cercando, diventato poi il paradigma da cui la mostra prende forma. Attorno a questa domanda si muovono opere pittoriche, tessili, sonore, video e installazioni collettive. Il progetto dialoga con il pensiero di Byung-Chul Han, Jean-Luc Nancy, Donald Winnicott e Guy Debord sul sonno come rifugio minacciato, restituendolo in una forma visiva e condivisa. Lo spazio di Imagoars accoglie la mostra trasformandosi in un ambiente da attraversare più che da osservare, pensato per essere scoperto a poco a poco. Non prova a mostrare il sonno, che per sua natura si sottrae allo sguardo, costruisce piuttosto le condizioni che lo precedono, la soglia da cui lo si intravede. La mostra rappresenta anche un'occasione di incontro tra due scuole veneziane, lo IUAV, che si muove dal pensiero alla materia, e l’Accademia di Belle Arti, che fa il percorso inverso. The so-called “manosphere”—a vast network of online self-help communities for men—has grossly misinterpreted the Stoic philosophy of the Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius. By exaggerating, in a camp style, the reverence these circles hold for a romanticized version of antiquity, the exhibition attempts to overturn their disheartening interpretation and open the door to a new possibility: that even the emperor might have a heart. On September 2 at 7PM, Panorama hosted a special event marking the final days of Mistranslation by Natalia Mejía Murillo. The event was conceived as an open conversation and reading session, moderated by curator Matheew Carrillo M. and Giovanni Giacomo Paolin. Participants were invited to share excerpts of texts to be re-read together, fostering a dialogue around the themes of the exhibition. Mistranslation explored what occurs across different geographies through the accumulation, translation, and reorganization of materials, memories, and forms of knowledge, challenging the classification systems through which we order and understand the material world. -

After a short introduction, we will create an A3 poster together using provided patterns and materials, working with two masters. Nel racconto Qualcosa era successo di Dino Buzzati all’interno della raccolta La boutique del mistero i protagonisti sono dei passeggeri di un treno in corsa che, guardando dal finestrino, si accorgono di gente ferma sui marciapiedi, nei campi, alle finestre immobili, rivolti verso la stessa direzione. Nessuno sa o sa spiegarsi. Eppure qualcosa era successo. C’è un momento in cui qualcosa cambia senza che nessuno sappia dire cosa. È da questa visione sospesa, tra il vedere e il capire, tra il presagio e la sua decifrazione che prende forma la mostra di Fondazione Malutta per Bàrnabo - Piccolo festival sul Paesaggio. Non è la prima volta che Fondazione Malutta incontra una stazione ferroviaria lungo il proprio percorso. Questo progetto rappresenta infatti la seconda tappa di una traiettoria che attraversa luoghi di transito e di attesa. La prima esperienza si era svolta nell’ex stazione di Borca di Cadore, dove il paesaggio montano dialogava con le pratiche degli artisti. Se quella era una prima fermata, Marano Vicentino diventa oggi una nuova sosta lungo un itinerario ancora aperto. Come una comunità nomade, Fondazione Malutta sembra muoversi di stazione in stazione. Vogliamo immaginarci gli artisti di Fondazione Malutta come quei passeggeri che però decidono di scendere da quel convoglio e fermarsi. È un gesto semplice e radicale insieme: scegliere di fermarsi, tirare il freno che i passeggeri di Buzzati non hanno osato toccare, per affrontare la discesa ed entrare nella stazione di Marano Vicentino. “Apnea” is a suspension of breath, a moment of stillness, accumulation, and waiting. Metaphorically, it encompasses a set of gestures, pauses, and silent processes in which life and work overlap, and where the inner rhythm becomes a measure of time. The exhibition unfolds as a three-act score, staging the atomization of an everyday object that is part of the artist’s studio furnishings. The works function as holograms of reality, which is transposed into another dimension through a ritualistic gesture. Within these suspended atmospheres, the absent object is altered and dissected in a performative interplay, until it dissolves into a breath. -

Exhibition of graphic works by Tiziano Ciao, created using the printing techniques of #intaglio and #screenprinting. Lagoon Surfaces is an artistic research project that began after the high water of 2019. Tiziano Ciao’s works arise from the observation of water and its effects on surfaces; the pieces capture the marks of time and the tides. Venice, nestled between the sea and the lagoon, is perhaps the most compelling example of the relationship between humans and water. The lagoon landscape of the salt marshes is shaped by the constant flow of tides and currents, and the entire city exists by designing with and incorporating the element of water. Solid, liquid, and gaseous—in all its forms—every surface in contact with it changes and transforms. The sound waves accompanying Lagoon Surfaces are dedicated to the element of water and its musical and sonic interpretations. What guides walking are the relics of meaning — and sometimes their waste, their inverted remains Restanze is a workshop conceived as a situated experience that activates bodies in relation to the landscape and its negative. In a shadowed corner of a 1960s home office, a woman known only as Florence staged an intimate photographic ritual. Bound in vintage cuffs, posed amid a filing cabinet and bare desk, Florence created over three hundred annotated images spanning decades—a systematic documentation where cataloging itself became the artistic act. For “Chain of Love” in Venice, Paul Graves transforms Joystick into Florence’s power stage, examining her archive through the procedural lens of vernacular photography. In the installation, industrial filing cabinets elevate Florence, allowing her to fully emerge, leaving the viewer caught between voyeur and witness. - Tess Gruenberg ABOUT THE ARTIST Paul Graves is a multidisciplinary artist and collector whose work spans photography, film, and creative direction. He began his career studying under Michelangelo Pistoletto at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. Known for blending high and low culture, Graves has created striking imagery for brands like Nike, Hermès, and Absolut Vodka, and has contributed to Vogue, The New York Times Magazine, Elle, and GQ. Graves’ practice explores the intersection of archival obsession, personal memory, and cultural storytelling. Opening Event Saturday 6th September, 4 – 8PM This September, Panorama enters its third year with “Tomorrow, yesterday and tomorrow”, a solo exhibition by Maurizio Segato. In a recursive play between memory and fiction, Segato reimagines one of the past lives of our space in Campiello San Zulian: a souvenir shop. Through sculptures that echo traditions and objects already lost – or on the verge of disappearing – the exhibition transforms the shop window into a living archive. Remembering becomes a process of rewriting, raising questions about private and public life in Venice, and about the city itself. -

Public program followed by opening event, Friday 20th June, 5:30 – 9pm “Dialectics of Chaos, Echelons of Time” presents the first Italian solo exhibition by Andrea Knezović, curated by Giulia Menegale. Precariousness, insecurity, and exhaustion are at the core of Andrea Knezović’s work – traced as signs of capitalism’s extraction from our emotional and cognitive lives. In her first solo show in Italy, Panorama invites the artist to reflect on urban extractivism and its impact on daily rhythms, imagining a poetic parallel between the city and the human body. The exhibition introduces a playful engagement with time: through diagrams and gestures of roaming, Knezović proposes a reappropriation of time – its pauses, expansions, and the emotional landscapes it holds. Siamo lieti di annunciare una collaborazione con 𝓑𝓮𝓪-𝓥𝓲𝓽𝓪, Venezia. Vi aspettiamo venerdì 17 gennaio per l'opening insieme ai primi artisti che presentano le loro opere site-specific: Nina Ćeranić, Bruno Fantelli, Manuela Kokanović, Bogdan Koshevoy, Aleksander Velišček e Maria Giovanna Zanella. Bea Vita inaugura una nuova mostra, a cura di Fondazione Malutta. "Amuse-Bouche". Un’esposizione work in progress in cui le opere aumentano periodicamente e si trasforma nel tempo.
