Panorama and EXCLAMA Proyectos are pleased to present Mistranslation, the first outcome of their residency and exhibition program dedicated to fostering dialogue between Colombian contemporary artistic practices and the cultural and ecological context of Venice.
Mistranslation presents the work developed in Venice by Colombian artist Natalia Mejía Murillo, and curated by Matheew Carrillo M. Until the opening, Panorama remains open as a working studio, inviting visitors to encounter the artist’s research and process in progress. A constellation of materials, observations, and displacements. Mistranslation explores what remains, what shifts, and what resists translation.
