What guides walking are the relics of meaning — and sometimes their waste, their inverted remains
Restanze is a workshop conceived as a situated experience that activates bodies in relation to the landscape and its negative. Through urban drifting, an imaginative reconnaissance of ghost-sites in public space, it produces affective cartographies of the city. The workshop unfolds as a performative exercise, proposing an exploration score that invites participants to move through space while attuning their gaze to the fields of force that traverse and haunt it. The work consists in identifying a circumscribed element—an architecture, an object, an urban threshold—capable of materializing this tension within a speculative rewriting of the environment.
